This evening is all about how to match food and wine to get the best of experience for your tastebuds!
We’ll taste 7 different delicious delicacies with 7 different wines from around the world, to understand how a good pairing can complement both. It’s also a celebration of amazing culinary produce – think along the lines of Chevre with Sancerre, venison with a juicy Zinfandel, Strathdon Blue cheese with Sauternes along with other delicious pairings! You’ll pick up some really useful tips that you can put to good use at home as we talk about the building blocks of wine; acidity, alcohol, tannin and sweetness and the effect these have on food.
You'll also pick up plenty of wine knowledge along the way, learning to taste like a professional and why it is that wines taste the way they do. An all round fantastic evening. No need to eat befoehand!
