Tasting at Home: Spirits - Gin
Saturday 2nd May at 6pm why not join us to learn about Gin? From origins, to the debauchery of Hogarth's 18th century painting, to the fashionable spirit of the modern day. What is Gin, how is it made, and how can we make it even more fun?
We want to have fun in quarantine; and while you can't come to us, we can come to you via an exclusive online tasting. Watch live or download it for later.
For just £5 we will host an hour long tutored Gin tasting. We'll talk about the history of Gin, how is it made - from distillation to botanicals, and why it is so popular right now? Join in with any Gin and mixer of your choice. Ruth will be emailing out a few suggestions for garnishes in advance of the tasting so we have a little experiment with these too.
You can join purely out of an interest in spirits, or you can pour yourself a glass, join the fun and make a night (in) of it. Ruth has chosen a London Dry Gin. If you have any questions at all about choosing your Gin, just call Ruth.
